Highlands Center for Women

Debbie Jenkins is Highlands Center for Women’s Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, specializing in High and Low-Risk Obstetrics. She has worked in women’s health roles for more than 20 years.

As a Nurse Practitioner, Debbie sees many obstetrics patients to perform physical examinations and procedures, make referrals, diagnose and treat health problems, provide counseling and teaching, and prescribe medications. Debbie works closely with our physicians but does not perform major surgeries or deliver babies. She may round on patients who are hospitalized and has privileges at both local hospitals.

Debbie received her graduate degree from the University of South Carolina and is certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She is an affiliate member of The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health.

 

Debbie is married with three children and enjoys all aspects of women’s health care, especially obstetric education and preventive care.
