Matthew L. Smith, MD, FACOG
Dr. Matthew Smith graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine
and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology with Greenville Hospital
System. He has been practicing in Greenville for nearly 15 years.
Dr. Smith specializes in General Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pre-Conceptual Counseling,
Infertility, Hormone Management, Pre-Menopausal Syndrome, Sexual Dysfunction,
Contraception and Pelvic Pain.
He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and
is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the South Atlantic
Association of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the South Carolina OB/GYN Society, the
Greenville Medical Society and the Christian Medical and Dental Society.
Dr. Smith also has been named winner of the 2008 St. Luke Award, given to a St.
Francis physician "with outstanding clinical achievement and a professional life
